U.S. Marshals join search for Methuen man suspected of killing his girlfriend

METHUEN, Mass. — The search for a man suspected of murdering a Methuen woman while she was in bed with her son is expanding nationwide.

“I talk to her every day and I cry every day,” Wanda’s mother Millie Rosa said. “He has to pay. He has to pay for what he did to my daughter. He has to pay for what he did to my baby. It's not fair. He should not be a coward.”

It's been more than six months since Wanda Rosa was strangled to death. The number one suspect is her boyfriend, Emilio DeLarosa, who had a history of domestic violence.

Since her death in September, police have been searching for DeLarosa without much luck; now the U.S. Marshals are joining the hunt.

Millie Rosa is still heartbroken over the lost of her daughter and is worried that DeLarosa is still at large.

Delarosa could be anywhere in the United States, or abroad.

“It was a young mother was murdered, left a 4, now 5-year-old, boy behind. We want to bring him to justice. That's what she deserves,” State Police Det. Lt. Michael Farley told Boston 25 News.

Anyone who knows where Emilio DeLarosa is, should contact the Massachusetts State Police Fugitive Apprehension Section at 1.800. KAPTURE.
