Man charged for Medford break-in suspected of others around the area

MEDFORD, Mass. — The investigation into several home break-ins in the Medford area continues, but police have made an arrest in the case.

Brandon Seeley was taken into custody Friday morning in Braintree on a warrant issued for one break-in and theft in Medford.

Police believe he may also be responsible for similar incidents in Malden, Melrose, Stoneham, Lexington and Arlington that took place in the past six weeks.

Police say Seeley, who lives in Taunton, has ties to Medford. They also believe other people are involved, but so far no one else is facing charges.

Seeley is currently charged with one count of breaking and entering and one count of larceny over $250, but the Medford Police Department said charges related to the other break-ins are “likely.”
